How did this happen?
I read the book "waking the dead" and it really was an eye opener for me. All the things going on around me in this world are waging war against my "heart". The book said some cool things and I listened. Prior to this album I really had a hard time saying things in the form of song "to" God...I had written a lot about God, but these songs are written as if in conversation to God...big difference and it was scary to approach him with song...

These songs represent an era of my life and a response to the book. I really like listening to this album, it reminds me of a good thing that came out of a dark time in my life. I hope you enjoy it and if you listen to the whole CD...the songs Asleep & Awake tell a significant story...dark as they are...this is the story of my heart...
